White Rock Que (WRQ) is a group of neighbors that turned a backyard BBQ into an community organization that has donated more than $200,000 to the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center (DARCC) to date. Each year they host a themed BBQ competition in which all proceeds directly benefit DARCC. I’ve volunteered with WRQ since 2016 on their event branding, marketing, and trophy design — after all, what’s a competition without trophies!
