Environmental Branding

A new concept for Blue Cross Blue Shield, the C1 Innovation Lab creates an environment that is customer-focused, creative, and activated — while maintaining the company’s history. This center provides co-located business operations, a dedicated design team, and a collaboration space in an historic building. Many forward-thinking design decisions that came to life as open workstation zones, a think tank, central presentation stairs, and a conference center with comfortable amenities.

Employee health is important to BCBS — design solutions such as timed city walking maps, single-person respite rooms, and biophilic elements support their mission.
